See: Kuldeep Yadav Tricks Stunner with Ben Stokes. Batter’s Response Is Online

On the third day of the fourth Test match between England and India in Ranchi on Sunday, England captain Ben Stokes was utterly taken aback by a breathtaking ball from Kuldeep Yadav. Kuldeep’s ball in the 33rd over of England’s second innings struck the leg stump but spun violently in the direction of the off-stump. The ball took Stokes by surprise with its spin, as he attempted to follow its line. It struck his back pad before rolling onto the stumps. The hitter, who had his team in a bit of difficulty, headed back to the dressing room with a look of sadness on his face.

Following an eventful third day in Ranchi on Sunday, Dhruv Jurel’s defensive masterstroke was perfectly matched by the devastating spin symphony of Kuldeep Yadav and fifer-man Ravichandran Ashwin as India took command of the fourth Test with decisive ease.

With 40 runs removed off the 192-run total without losing a wicket, India triumphed at stumps.

Yashasvi Jaiswal (16 batting) and Rohit Sharma (24 batting) would be optimistic that the squad can get the last 152 runs with little drama.

However, Jurel’s courageous 90, which came off 149 balls and 211 minutes in, was what ignited India’s resistance movement. In their first innings, it helped the hosts reach 307 from their overnight score of 219 for seven.

England just ran out of answers to the queries asked by Kuldeep Yadav (4/22), who was bowled out for a paltry 145, and Ashwin (5/51), who claimed his 35th five-wicket haul in Test cricket.
